1.    How is PepsiCo MTP different from others?

PepsiCo MTP offers long term Career Possibilities to our MT, not just a job. This is demonstrated by an intensive Training and Development Programs including Core Management Trainee Program, Individual Development Program and Leadership Development Program. Accordingly,duration of our MT Program has been changed from 18 months to 36 months (3 years) in 2011 with an objective to provide longer career roadmap for Management Trainees so that you are able to take managerial position after the period. And it will not stop there, if you continuously deliver results both in business & people aspects and prove your leadership potential, the possibilities are open for next level of leadership development.Additionally, the fact that many of our Management Trainees in previous years now holding key managerial positions in our business is also real evidence for our commitment.

This year there are about 15-20 Management Trainees that we are looking for.

3.    What kind of peopleare you looking for?

Our selection process is designed to assess your future potential in our environment through our set of Leadership & Individual Effectiveness Model.

The Leadership imperatives include Setting Agenda, Taking Other with You & Doing It in the Right Way. We also focus on your strong motivation to work in a FMCG environment.

4.    I am a graduate from social science/ technology, would that affect my chance of becoming a Management Trainee?

The possibilities are open for all major as long as you can show us your strong desire and potential capabilities for the function.

5.    In what functions are you looking for Management Trainee?

We are providing possibilities in Human Resource, Marketing, Finance, Sales and Operations. Please refer to locations having MT Headcount this year below:

6.    Can I make the decision on which function to work for?

Yes, you will decide your career of choice from the beginning when filling in the Application Form. Please think carefully about you yourself (strengths, weaknesses, passions) and your vision in life to make right decision. Through our selection process, we will also support you in identifying you most suitable Function to work.

7.    How can I know which function suits me best?

We are organizing Career Orientation Day in HCMC, Ha Noi and Can Tho to provide clear career instruction and detailed description of each Department for your choice. Additionally, Department Role & Accountabilities are also provided in our Recruitment Website (www.pepsicocareer.com.vn). You should study it carefully and see where you suit best. You can also search Google for some Career Orientation/ Personality Tests to identify your most suitable function.

8.    What training shall be provided for Management Trainees?

We are providing you with Functional Trainings and Soft-skills Trainings along with on-the-job training to develop your general business knowledge and strategic business skills to be ready for our managerial positions. 

Our MTP is designed to provide training opportunities in developing your functional skills and leadership skills. This is done through on-the-job training (70%), coaching (20%) and formal training (10%).

9.    Can I apply for ManagementTrainees of other locations out of my based one?If I am successful to be an MT for new location out of my base, am I supported with any allowance?

Candidates can apply for MT of other locations out of your based one. Please note to indicate your preferred location clearly in our Application form under the question “What is your most preferred location to apply for PepsiCo VN?” and note to choose among locations which have MT need for this year. If successful, candidates will manage your own relocation and housing need. 

10.  Will I have transportation/accommodationsupport during selection process?

In Selection process, Testing &Initial Interview Round will be organized at each location (HCMC, Ha Noi and Can Tho), no transportation/accommodation support is provided.

Candidates joining Assessment Center at HCMC are supported with accommodation & transportation (for candidates moving from Ha Noi and Can Tho to HCMC only).

11.  When will Trainee be official staff of your company? Is Management Trainees paid during Traineeship?

As an MT, you are an employee of the company. You will enjoy an attractive remuneration package which includes competitive base salary and benefits.
